Key Details
It's mandatory to add the prefix 'EQUITAS' to your account number for remittances.
Transactions without the ‘EQUITAS’ prefix may be reversed, with applicable charges.

The Process
Initiation: Start the transfer via internet banking or by visiting your bank branch.
SWIFT Message: Overseas bank sends a SWIFT message to IndusInd Bank's Nostro account.
Conversion and Transfer: IndusInd Bank, our remittance partner, converts the funds to INR and sends them as NEFT to your Equitas account.
Timing for Credit: Clear funds received in the NOSTRO account before 10am IST on a Forex working day will be credited to the Equitas account on the same or next day.
Important Details
The SWIFT/ BIC of the intermediary bank mentioned is currency-specific and common for all branches.
SWIFT/BIC Code: Use IndusInd Bank’s (Beneficiary bank) SWIFT/BIC Code 'INDBINBBGRD' for retail remittances to Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited.
Identifier: Ensure that the Equitas IFSC Code & Bank details are correctly mentioned as Identifiers for Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited.
Ineligible Transactions: Transactions received for purposes other than those mentioned and/or without the 'EQUITAS' prefix to your account number or the Equitas Identifier in the Remarks column shall be returned.
Return of Funds: If the account is ineligible or the transaction incorrect, it will lead to a return of funds to the remitter after the deduction of return charges.
Exchange Loss(if any)/Return Charges: To be borne by the remitter.
