Minimum period of the NRE Fixed Deposits is 1 year. No Interest would be paid if the deposit is pre-closed before the completion of the first 12 months.
There would be No Pre-closure Penalty for NRE Fixed Deposits and a Pre-closure penalty of 1% apply on the NRO Fixed Deposits when Pre-closed before the completion of 6 months from the Date of Booking of the Deposit.
No Senior Citizen Special Rates available for NRE and NRO FDs
31.2% TDS applicable (Inclusive of surcharge 4%) on the NRO interest accrued.
The above rates apply to Retail Term Deposits of Value below Rs.3 Crores. For Fixed Deposit of Value Rs.3 Crores and above, Bulk Deposit Rates apply. Please contact the nearest Equitas Small Finance Bank branch for the Bulk Deposit Rate.
For monthly payout Fixed Deposits, the interest rate will be discounted on the quarterly compounding rate.
